The Transit Alliance of Butler County (TABC)
TABC Mission: To create an effective, efficient and coordinated approach to meet the current and future local and regional transportation needs for Butler County citizens, agencies and businesses.
Primary Objectives of TABC:
- Advisory – serve as a vehicle to assist BCRTA in identifying and prioritizing needs and necessary performance metrics.
- Advocacy – support BCRTA efforts in meeting needs by soliciting necessary input from agencies, the public, and decision-makers.
- Provide Forum for Collaboration – serve as a facilitator for bringing agencies and resources together versus directly providing service.
- Provide an Attractive Community Profile and Demonstration of Collaboration - for the purpose of attracting grants and other funds to support the TABC mission.
Success Factors:
- There is an effective integration and collaboration between TABC and BCRTA.
- We readily communicate successes.
- We have more available transportation capacity.
- We have more reliable and dependable transportation.
- We develop an increased awareness of the needs of the community.
- We mutually promote the value to both clients and decision makers.
- We educate the public and solicit public support.
- We seek customer satisfaction.
