Hamilton/Fairfield Shopping Shuttle
- The Shopping Shuttle provides affordable roundtrips to popular shopping destinations (call 513-785-5237 for more information). The Shuttle provides 1-1/2 to 2 hours of shopping time. You have an opportunity to shop at various locations and you may enter and exist the bus as many times as you need. You are responsible for your own belongings and may place shopping bags in the back of the bus, under your seat, or on your lap. Shuttle drivers are not permitted to assist you in carrying your bags on and off of the bus.
- Call in advance to reserve a seat on the Shopping Shuttle. Because seating is limited, we strongly encourage you to reserve a seat at your earliest convenience.
- When you call 513-785-5237 to reserve a seat, please leave your name, phone number and day of the week you would like a ride.
- Please make separate reservations for each person who needs a ride. If you don’t have a reservation, you may not be able to ride.
- If you need to cancel a ride, please call in as soon as possible, but no later than 2 hours prior to your scheduled pick-up time. Failing to do so will be considered a "No Show." (See "No Show" below.)
- Pick-Up Time: Once you reserve a ride, you will receive a phone call the day before your scheduled trip with a pick-up time. Pick-up times can vary day-to-day but are usually between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. each weekday. To keep the Shopping Shuttle on schedule, we ask that you be ready 15 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time and watch for the bus to arrive.
Medical Shuttle
- Medical Trips. The reduced-fare medical shuttle is available for any medical related trip in Butler County and surrounds for appointments between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Call 513-785-5237 for more information.
- Schedule your medical ride as soon as possible to ensure a ride time is available and closely matches your scheduled medical appointments.
- If you need a prescription filled, have the prescription called in ahead of time by your doctor’s office. The medical shuttle can often arrange a stop at your Pharmacy on a return trip from your doctor’s office, clinic, hospital, etc. However, this must be prearranged and be a part of your trip home. This supplemental service is subject to time and distance limitations.
- If you need to cancel a scheduled ride, please call in as soon as possible, and no later than 2 hours prior to your scheduled pick-up time. Failing to do so will be considered a “No Show.” (See “No Show” below).
- Last minute requests for trips may not always be possible but BCRTA will do its best to try and help – so give a call!
Group Shuttles
BCRTA vehicles can accommodate 14-seated passengers or 12 passengers and 2 wheelchairs. BCRTA is able to offer passenger fare discounts when more than one person can be scheduled on a trip – and the more persons per trip, the deeper the discount. Please call 513-785-5237 for more information.

If a trip is not available at the requested time, you may work with the Reservationists to identify an alternative trip time and/or call the day (or day before) of the trip in case there are trip cancellations.
- BCRTA will maintain waiting lists for customers who wish to subscribe to regular, recurring trip times (i.e., subscription trips).
- If you need to cancel a ride, please call 513-785-5237 as soon as possible, and no later than 2 hours prior to your scheduled pick-up time. Failing to do so will be considered a "No Show." (See "No Show" below.)
No Show
A "No Show" is anytime you have reserved a trip on a BCRTA shuttle or demand response service and fail to cancel that trip at least 2 hours in advanced of your scheduled pick-up time, or you do not show up at the scheduled pick-up location at the scheduled pick-up time. If you are a “No Show” you will be charged for the ride and must make the ride payment before you are able to schedule future rides. This practice is necessary to make certain that BCRTA limited trips are available for those who truly need them. Thank you for your understanding!
